The Ichiro Archives Project

I have always been into the retro look.  When the new (in 2001) Ford Thunderbird came out, I loved the throwback look.  My first furniture purchase was a callback to the 60s era and most of my clothes are probably 20 years old!  This love affair with bringing back old designs to new things has carried over into my card collecting.  When I came across the first Topps Heritage set when I stepped back into collecting in 2007, I was instantly hooked.  In that box, I got my first Ichiro Suzuki  card, my favorite player at the time, and still is.  As the years went along, other retro designs featuring Ichiro came along in the form of Topps archives, Throwback Thursdays, and others along the way.  This became my new obsession and this gallery is that journey.  I don't have all that are available and I hope as the years go by, there will be opportunities to fill the gaps.  Enjoy my walk through card collecting history, from the 1880s through today as shown by Ichiro Suzuki.
