To be a kid in the summer of 1989 was to live in the golden age of cheap wax—50 cents a pack unless you were splurging on Upper Deck. And if your local ballpark concession stand happened to stock Fleer, you spent those long afternoons chasing the hobby’s most infamous error card—the one with the F*** printed right on it. Decades later, it’s still coveted by the very adults who weren’t allowed anywhere near that little piece of cardboard contraband back then.
